Since 1998, Anita's professional focus has been real estate consultation. Casa Verde Realty, Inc. is a evolving into a unique green brokerage. Her goal is to assist her clients in finding the home that will best match their lifestyles while encouraging them to incorporate greener living and ecological intelligent technologies, wherever possible.
In the course of nurturing all pursuits green, in addition to completing the Ecobroker® Certification as well as taking ongoing classes in healthier homes, gentler building practices and sustainable technologies to share with her clients. She continues to participate in local as well as national green building forums to expand her knowledge and contacts.
Chicago was the place of her birth, education, marriage and career beginnings. Anita has held positions in administration and public relations at universities and colleges in Chicago, Seattle and rural Washington, Long Beach, California, and Iowa City, Iowa before arriving in Arizona in 1992 accepting the position of Assistant Director of Research at Arizona State University. She has been an adjunct faculty member for Paradise Valley Community College as a yoga teacher in the Center for Wellness. Anita continues to serve on the boards of two other Arizona nonprofit organizations.
